Position Summary
The Production Team Lead serves on the Creative Team at The Assembly at Broken Arrow as the director of audio, lighting, and stage crew teams at The Assembly. The Production Lead casts vision for set design, helps implement creative ideas for big events and productions, oversees the upkeep and organization of production equipment, and leads a team of production volunteers in various areas for all services and events.

Essential Functions

  • Cast vision, provide leadership, and direction for production aspects of all worship experiences and activities at The Assembly at Broken Arrow (this includes Summit Christian Academy events and activities)
  • Lead team members into the full activity of church life at the Assembly-putting a priority on attendance in services and church-wide dream team involvement
  • Oversee the discipleship and spiritual growth of the production team members
  • Strategize in growing the volunteer team and place significant emphasis on adding new team members
  • Coordinate, train, and lead volunteers in different production areas
  • Contribute to weekly department meetings and vision casting meetings for the Creative Team
  • Oversee other Production Staff and contractors at The Assembly as needed

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Wide range of experience in the area of Production
  • Proficient knowledge of the latest in lighting design (Knowledge of GrandMA preferred)
  • Extensive knowledge of sound consoles, plugins, and mixing techniques
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in correspondence
  • Capable of cultivating a sense of community and building a team
  • High level of Creativity
  • Leadership gift
  • Technologically savvy and an early adapter to new technologies and methods
  • Well-versed in current church production practices

Qualifications

  • Experience in various production roles with documentation to show increasing levels of personal growth and job responsibilities
  • Wide range of proficiency and training in production areas
